I just wanted to say I participated in the master class you held on the 23/11/07 and I and my schoolmates had an excellent time. It was wonderful to be able to talk and play with such wonderful musicians, we had a great time. I think one of the greatest things was realising it was just like our band rehearsals, a group of mates having fun doing something together we all love.
Thankyou for the fantastic opportunity.

Hi, although I now live in Australia I was born in Cymfelinfach and also lived in Risca. My father, Gordon Dunn, was in the TA's in Risca (2nd Mons) during the 1960's and early 70's. He was a bandsman with the TA's for around 10 years or so(B grade). I certainly remember the band outings as a child. My father was a member of the band when it won a band competition (B Grade) at the crystal palace(?) if I remember correctly it was with a "Beat the Retreat.
Anyway I enjoyed visiting your site well done.

I have just had the pleasure of looking through your website. The Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh is a fine looking group of musicians. British Brass Band is a very exciting musical idiom to listen to. The Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh Regiment upholds and enhances that character.

Very good site, was hoping to download the whole mp3's :( I think the 'Clik Here' links could be clearer, maybe in a different colour, or scroll over. Other than that, band is looking good.

Many thanks for putting photos and information about Cilffriw School's encounter with the band on your website, and for keeping the school and the regimental museum informed about this. I know the pupils and teachers much enjoyed their morning, and we are grateful to the band for involving the children. I also enjoyed Beating Retreat on Thursday evening.

Ich sehe die riesigen Bemuhungen des Designers. Er hat sich gut bemuht! Besonders ist das Farbengamma gelungen. Sehr ansprechend. Ganzen best! So zu halten und ist weiter!
